About the Smartpop Project
This project is funded by the European Commission (Horizon H2020 - MCSA Grant number 890340). The project aims to design new biobased materials from plant lignocellulosic powders using additive manufacturing. The project involves the France’s National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) and the SCION in New Zealand. The project started in November 2020, and runs34 months.
During the project, Dr Claire Mayer-laigle will be hosted by SCION . Conjoint developments and the creation are expected. This project open aslo the opportunity for the creation of an important of network about additive manufacturing of biobased product gathering scientifics from New Zealand and European countries.
